Policies & Procedures

Appointments

  • Appointments are scheduled via our website only.

  • All appointments should be scheduled at least a week (7 days) in advance. 

  • Appointment cancellations and/or reschedules are to be made at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees.

  • Cancellations made within twenty-four (24) hours will be charged a $25.00 cancellation fee. 

  • All scheduled appointments will begin at the scheduled time. There is a ten (10) minute grace period. After the first ten (10) minutes, your appointment will then be canceled and a $50.00 inconvenience fee will be charged. 

  • Prowess offers a free one hour consultation. The initial consultation is used only for discovery purposes; to determine whether or not you, the client, and Prowess are a good fit. Any time over the initial hour will be $25.00 per additional hour. 

  • Scheduled appointments for select services will require a minimum non-refundable deposit of $25.00. This deposit will be allocated towards the balance of any services provided by Prowess Financial.

Client Engagement

  • Client engagement letters will be customized according to services and needs of each client. Engagement letters must be signed and returned to Prowess before client engagement may begin.

  • You, the client, may be required to sign disclosures to ensure accurate and true information is provided. 

  • Service rates are based on client needs. Rates are subject to change at any time other than specifically outlined in client engagement letters for the duration of the contract.

Payment Terms

  • Payment terms may vary on selected services. Please consult with your advisor to ensure payment terms applicable to your services.

  • Prowess Financial reserves the right to assess a monthly finance charge to outstanding payments. 

  • There will be a $50.00 NSF fee associated with all returned checks.

  • Prowess accepts the following forms of payment: Cashier’s Checks, Cash, Zelle, Credit and Debit Card. Cash App is no longer an acceptable form of payment.
